Of course women know how important sports and exercise are to become and stay fit for a long time. If only regular exercise weren’t so difficult to fit into a busy schedule. Because continuous exercise improves one’s performance, reduces stress and thus enhances the quality of life. To get women moving, a specific diagnosis and therapy, but also a great deal of sensitivity are needed, precisely because women are different due to their genes, their hormones, their anatomy, psychology as well as their lifestyle. Because of this, the multi-professional la pura team, consisting of physicians, therapists and sports scientists has prepared special techniques and sports offers in the la pura fitness area, so that women can make optimal use of their kinetic energy. In addition, la pura offers an extensive exercise and sports concept in the context of the activity programme. It’s all about trying out new kinds of sports, finding out what you enjoy and discovering the right form of exercise.

What kind of exercise is best for me?

It’s obvious that when a woman enjoys exercising, she finds it easier to exercise regularly. The la pura activity programme offers an opportunity to try out a different sports and exercise programme every week. Indoor and outdoor. Pilates, Qi Gong and various strength-building units, plus yoga and relaxation or walking, for example with the Smovey rings: which one is for you? Where else do women get such an opportunity to try out such a wide range of exercise concepts and new kinds of sports without joining a fitness studio? At la pura you can try out what is best for you.

 

It couldn’t be more individual

During a Personal Coaching all your personal needs are addressed. After determining the current fitness level, each woman receives special custom-tailored training recommendations that can and should also be continued after the wellness vacation.
Galileo training is also used at la pura: a combination of vibration, coordination, balance and strength training that activates deep muscle groups using involuntary stretching reflexes. It has proven to be useful for regeneration, as a fall and injury prophylaxis and for muscle building training.

More knowledge means being ahead of the game

At la pura, women can find out about their respective physical performance and health with our special diagnostic procedures: we use bioimpedance analysis (BIA) to detect potential imbalances in our body composition. Your personal resting metabolic rate can be determined with a breath gas analysis (aircheck) – and the ramp test on a bicycle is used to measure your optimal training heart rate for individual fat burning. And as if that wasn’t enough, the muscle function and coordination check tests the sensorimotor function and body stability and determines any shortening and weakening of the musculature.

 

Get out into pure nature

Embedded in the wild, untouched beauty of the Waldviertel region, the la pura women’s health resort kamptal is an ideal gateway for outdoor sports. The region features perfect surroundings for a hike or a jog along the romantic Kamp river, as well as beautiful walking trails and an opportunity to go on bike tours. The Gars tennis club makes four clay courts available to la pura and offers lessons for all skill levels. For golf enthusiasts, there is an 18-hole golf course in Ottenstein. Women who crave more action can look forward to a climbing park and Segway tours.

 

Osteopathy

The gentle alternative! The osteopathy treatment is a manual form of therapy. In an osteopathy treatment, the body is seen as a functional unit and stimulated to engage in self-regulation (boosting of metabolism through the vascular and nervous system). A disruption to this balance can result in blockages, pain and relieving postures by way of compensation. The therapist applies the treatment manually and with empathy to work individually on painful areas or blocked joints using gentle grip techniques. Self-healing powers.
