In the summer of 2023, Gars Castle will be transformed into the famous Egyptian temple on the Nile in the time of the pharaohs.
Giuseppe Verdi’s AIDA combines the sensitive drama of four individual fates in times of war with opera culture in its most monumental form in a breathtaking way.
The Oper Burg Gars – one of the oldest castle complexes in Austria – impresses with its impressive acoustics and breathtaking atmosphere, making it the perfect venue for top-class cultural events such as AIDA under the artistic direction of Maestro Johannes Wildner.
